Frst desantis disappointment in 35 years - DeSantis C.E.O. Shoulder Rig Leather Holsters

This one is my first Desantis holster disappointment in 35 years abd I'm a little shocked but that's what the item I FINALLY received is. Here are the problems.

The rear strap does NOT attach to the top of the holster as shown in the picture. It attaches at the bottom, below the muzzle. This adversely affects the "hang" of the holster with a fully loaded firearm in place. Yjat is, without precise adjustment and that's the next problem.

I had to email Desantis to get instructions on how to remove the installed studs on the leather portion of the harness to allow for adjustment. Even then, I had to use the point of a dullish knife to pry open the little slits and get the studs out. I didn't reuse them but rather substituted screws and receivers from an old Galco holster.

The holster doesm't fit my Sig P365 very tightly at all and trying to adjust the tension screw is a bit of and adventure. If you try just turning it, it only spins. You have to hold the holster between your legs, grasp the rear receiver nut with needle-nose pliers and THEN turn the tension screw. Even after all that, it won't get really tight.

Although the holster leather is good, the harness leather os poor grad e for this price point.

I guess I'll keep it because I only use a shoulder holster occasionally because of clothing options and I don't need to carry a spare mag, but I'll probably transfer the holster to that old Galco harness.
