Iwb carry ranged self defence that is also legal to carry permissiave enviroments - DeSantis City Slicker

In New Zealand carrying anything for self defense is illegal as well as firearms, knife's and pepper sprays pretty much similar to The United Kingdom and Australia laws. New Zealand has become a violent and dangerous place where offenders carry and haves used hammers, knifes and machetes. Pretty much it has become to unsafe for people to go outside anytime even tourists have been attacked and mugged daily.
Since being born in NZ I grew up in tough country of being assaulted/harassed on the daily. To defend my self I carried tactical pens and a tactical flashlight using skills from HEMA and other self defense courses I learned to "flash and stab" as a method of shinning light in their eyes with my off hand then with my dominant hand with the pen stab the assistant until they surrendered. This method never failed me even against a group of attackers. The reason I carry flashlights and pens is that they are legal to carry anywhere and has easier plausible deniability when confronted by police than other weapons.
They reason to get this type of coin purse is the ability for ranged attacks. If you are being charged by a assailant armed with a knifes/machetes with intent to commit lethal force. Fist range will get you killed.
The IWB clip works and can be tucked in if you need to wear a work uniform, carrying in IWB appendix carry is superior with fast draw and concealment. In New Zealand wearing a holster will get the cops called on you, so IWB is the only way to go. the leather design helps with carrying coins and being more comfortable than just synthetic. The nylon handle helps with plausible deniability as traditional coins saps have a full leather handle deign that looks too much like a weapon to carry openly.
This is a ranged tool do not engage when they are too close or they will disarm you. You will need more coins than normal coin saps to use effectively. The nylon strap is hard to draw than a leather strap so practice your draw daily. If the assailant is unarmed and putting up fist hit their hands as they cant punch. If they continue advancing hit the hard bone parts of their body until they surrender. If they come with lethal force strike their head they should stop or hit the ground. If lethal weapon is still in their hand while still conscious continue striking their head until threat is gone.
If DeSantis makes a new version of the "City Slicker" multi colors and better strap system that can be tucked in better. redesign the shape to be more of a purse shape than a sap.
Pros:
No blood
leathal force option
knockout poteintal
hold extra change
mostly legal to carry
Ranged
Cons:
Black color make is look more "dangerous"
Needs distance to work
needs more coins to work effectively
can be disarmed
If carried offensively will be charged
shape is still a sap
Best Used for:
Covert Carry/Grey Man
travel carry
permmisive enviroments
