Chris's Review of DeSantis Mini Slide Leather Belt Holsters
This would have been my third DeSantis holster. They make a quality product, but some of their design decisions are just stupid...and this model is no exception.
I bought this for a Glock 30. The same model is supposed to fit a full-size Glock 21, which is a little over an inch longer.
The holster leaves the muzzle and front sight exposed, even on the subcompact G30. Bad for the gun, and terrible for civilian carriers. If my shirt rides up and the leather of the bottom holster is exposed, not too big a deal. The exposed muzzle of a gun? Not good. Really not good. DeSantis could have cut this half an inch longer and it would have been a good holster.
This one's going back immediately.
