Good little holster - DeSantis Right Hand Black Scorpion Holster 038KAB2Z0 - Fits Glock 17, 19, 22, 23, 31, 32, 36

I purchased this holster to get my feet wet with concealment holsters and it seems like I got lucky. I wear this between 430 and 5 o'clock and its comfortable.

I'm a big guy (5'10" 375lbs) and I like how it fits. It will occasionally stab me, but that's because it moves and isn't in the right place.

I sometimes forget it's there when I am up moving around with it. It does remind me that it's there when I sit down, but that's usually because the holster/gun will usually hit the backing of the chair. So I have to adjust how I sit in chairs if it has a wide back.

The only problem I have this this holster is that the paint covering the screws has already come off. I don't know if it wore off because of friction or was eaten off because of my body sweat. Either way I will need to clean off the slight rust discoloration and protect it with an anti-rust compound that's clothes friendly.

On another note, at first I thought the clips would NOT be sufficient because all they did was just go under the belt and not around (C clips vs J clips I think), but I think due to the curve of the clip and closeness to the body, the clips hold really well. I have yet to pull out the holster with the gun with about 100 draws and I think I will NEVER pull out the holster with the gun.


Pros: seems sturdy but this is my first kydex holster, so I dont have anything to compare it with.
Cons: Paint on rivets/screws came off, and seems like they are getting surface rust now.
