Steven's Review of Devil Dog Concepts M-TAK Side Charging Handle Kit
I used this on a pistol AR platform and worked great and it's reconfigurable should I need to change the set up. It's easier, faster and smoother to charge my gun. I can just reach up and charge it with out getting out position. With the regular factory style I would have to change position to get ahold of the handle.
Pros:
- No expensive or custom upper
- Can be moved between rifles
- Can be reconfigured with different setups
Cons:
- Expensive
- Doesn't work on some oversize receivers or 308s
Best Used for:
- 9mm .223
