Great redesign over the original - DoubleStar ARFX-E Redesign Skeleton Stock Assembly Entry Length w/Black Foam

I had the old version of the ARFX in the full-lenght setup. I was never a fan of how the d-ring threaded into the stock, I felt it was too skinny of a thread to hold up to any substantial impact. The bolts that covered up the other attachment points was also tacky. The machined QD holes are a welcomed upgrade. This rifle feels much more stable with a sling vs. the old style. The length of pull was the biggest reason I bought this stock. Being in CA, we have to have fixed stocks on our featureless builds, and it's difficult to find a non-A2 length fixed stock. This stock I think is perfect for most shooters 6' and under. I am 5'11" and a A2 style stock is way too long for me. Very easy to install, took about 20 minutes to remove my old stock and put the new one on. You will need an air compressor or duster can to slide the foam onto the buffer tube.
