Works good with my sling - DoubleStar Loop End Plate

I didn't have any problems mounting this on my Windham 9mm rifle. You just have to be careful about the springs popping out. I got the ambidextrous plate so I could hook on either side with my Magpul MS3 sling. The loops sticking out don't seem to be a problem hitting my hand or anything, and it's nice not having anything that creates more rattle. The edges are hard, and you could file them off a bit if needed, but then you would need to paint it, and I really don't notice the hard edges when mounted on my rifle.
