After messing around with the different springs and breaking them in, I found that the lightest spring works for 115 grain, medium for 124 grain, and the heavy spring works well for the heavier 147-grain 9mm rounds. This buffer takes a lot of the snappiness out of the recoil, and I can get back on target a lot faster. It's a cool upgrade, and the springs change out super fast to work with whatever you're shooting. I generally just keep the medium spring on.
