I ordered this case due to the compactness and ability to transport both an AR and a pistol with multiple magazines. The case is made by Plano (take that as you will), is sturdy, well constructed, and has secure latches that seem to keep the case locked, even if dropped from height. The molded cut outs are slightly different from the stock picture, but meet all the same requirements. This is not an everyday carry case you would use to go to the range, as it requires you to disassemble the upper receiver from the barrel assembly, which requires tools. But, if you're traveling a long distance, and want to take everything in a compact, easy to secure case, this is the one for you.
