I was skeptical about this purchase as I was not familar with this barnd. I had always repalced my old boots with the manufacturer I was familar with. On arrival I opened the box and was immeadately impressed with the apparent quality of the workmanship and materials used in the construction. I purchased these boots to run around in the swamps cahsing deer and turkey. In terrain that is typically hard on boots. I put them on and the size was as descibed. The fit was confortable and not too heavy. Although the support was there the boot was not difficult to take off as I had had isssues with this with other brands. On the inital field trial they performed well, stayed dry and wore them all day with no issues. Hopefully I can take Dryshop's word for the "snake bit proof" part fo the boot. I hope I do not have to find out first hand. My take away is it is a quality made boot that will give many years of service.
