Lack of egw customer servive - Evolution Gun Works Picatinny Scope Mount, Remington Model 541, Long Action Rifle Rail Mount

I have 3 EGW mounts and have no complaints about the first two I purchased. The third one was for a Rem. short action. Once I had mounted the rail and scope I tried to bore sight using my collimator and discovered my scope was not aligned with the bore. The scope was angled to the right enough that I did not have enough adjustment to center the reticle. I had used a dead-nutz mount on this rifle previously and had not encountered any such problem. I checked the holes on both the mount and the rifle and determined that the holes in the EGW mount were off center. I called EGW and spoke with a representative and was told to return the mount and he would have it checked out by the engineer. I returned the mount and waited. I sent emails and after several weeks I was assured that the mount would be sent to the engineer. Several more weeks pass and I am sending emails again. Finally I get a response that the engineer has checked out the mount, found it to be within specs and the mount will be returned to me. I mounted and checked the rail and realized that I still had the same problem. Disgusted with EGW customer service I ordered a Larue mount, mounted and bore-sighted the Larue with no problems. EGW customer service is not up to snuff. I honestly do not believe anyone "checked" out the rail I returned. The jury is out on EGW. As I mentioned in the beginning, I have two other EGW mounts and I have had no problems with them. Just beware of their lack of customer service!
