This base gives you the opportunity to mount any scope on the 52 illiminating the need for the Unertl style scope. I have put these on 2 of my 52s and they hold tight. This base made the difference of using the 52 or leaving it in the closet. Great product, well made. On the 52 you need the neg 20 MOA base.
