When buying the Covers for the Elcan SpecterDr 1.5-6X You must buy this Objective Adapter Ring in order for a proper fit to the front of the Scope, the Rear of the Scope does not require an adapter. I have it on my AR-15 and love the way it protects my Scope, When not in use I simply bring my cover lids down on my scope to protect the Len’s.
