Not useable in sunlight - Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50mm Rifle Scope

DevonErik's Review of Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50mm Rifle Scope
Make no mistake. This isn't a prism scope with a holographic LED display, like your pistol or rifle red dot which you can turn up to daylight bright.
This is a prism scope with a transparent OLED screen in it.
Transparent OLEDs are a cool technology, but they are not bright. On a sunny day, even with the polarizing screen in place, you will only barely be able to see the reticle even against the darkest backgrounds. Against a light background, well, forget it.
Also, the mount is just bad. No recoil lugs. But that doesn't matter, because the scope itself is an expensive paperweight. Spare yourself the annoyance, and stay away.
Pros:
box does not contain fire ants
looks nice, I suppose
Cons:
Unusable
Best Used for:
Paperweight
