Hvhp eley rimfire ammo - Eley Ammunition High Velocity .22 Long Rifle 38 Grain Lead Hollow Point Brass Cased Rimfire Ammunition

I had heard good things about Eley ammo. I was looking for a hunting round for my Tikka, T1x. The rifle was an absolute tack driver during the break in period. I wanted to see what it could do at 100 yards. I only put a Leupold Fixed VXII, 4X on it,because of the short 16 inch barrel. This ammo has produced 1.5 inches, 10 shot groups at 100 yards. People tell me to put a stronger scope on it, to make those groups shrink. I even thought my old T/C Benchmark had better days. But it really shines with this high velocity hollow point ammo, from Eley. I ended up buying 20 more boxes from Optics Planet. They are the only ones that that I could find,that handle this certain round. I live out west, so this rifle and Eley ammo are going to be my 100 yard or less prairie dog round. Match grade accuracy from a hunting round. Amazing!
