Teddy's Review of Eley Ammunition High Velocity .22 Long Rifle 38 Grain Lead Hollow Point Brass Cased Rimfire Ammunition
This ammo is insanely accurate, and you don't have to break the bank compared to higher-end Eley.
Only complaint/warning: these didn't chamber in my Ruger 10/22 when using EXTENDED mags.
It chewed up and smashed the hollow point on multiple tries, and wouldn't go up the feed ramp.
I was worried, after ruining 5 rounds. Switched to the 10 round mags, and it was shot-on-top-of-shot.
My girl, a lesser experienced shooter, accomplished dime sized groups at 25 yds with 3x Zoom.
Has shown extremely consistent expansion, too (as consistency is Eley's middle name), but remember this is supersonic, so it shouldn't be used for distance. For bolt action squirrel hunting 25-50yds: this is about as good as you'll find.
