Hotrod's Review of Elite Survival Systems Guardian EDC Backpack

I have been a customer of Elite Survival Systems/Assault Systems for many years with gun cases. Their gun cases are superior to anything else out there. When I needed a backpack for a pistol, I was looking at my local gun shop and the new thing now is Vertx packs. I looked at the packs and I didn’t care for the materials or the zippers or the snap buttons on a couple of their packs, but I figured everyone was saying how great they were at the shop so I thought I’d get one. Then I saw the price. No thanks. I didn’t want to pay $200 for something I didn’t feel that the materials would hold up over time. I went home and started searching for a pack that was better made for a better price. I decided to see if Elite made a backpack and to my surprise, they do. Several. So I looked for a pack that fit my requirements and got the Elite Guardian EDC. I was torn between the Guardian and their Echo pack, but went with the Guardian because of the materials used. No regrets. I love this pack. The materials feel superior to the Vertx packs. The zippers are heavy duty, the nylon is thicker, the pack has Molle webbing all throughout to attach whatever you need, it’s padded where it needs to be and it’s 1/2 the cost of a Vertx pack. It doesn’t have an annoying waist belt attachment that you’re not going to use and it’s got enough room to store things you need in a EDC or short hike backpack. I also love the trifecta color- It’s a tactical pack without looking like a tactical pack. I was so impressed with this pack that I ended up ordering two. Optics Planet had the best deal on these so I purchased it through them and the pack was here within a week. I’m completely confident in this pack and thankful I searched around for something better.
