Leachj's Review of Elzetta Bravo 2-Cell Modular LED Flashlight w/Standard Bezel Ring
Bought an Elzetta Mount a while ago for a shotgun. Figured I’d give them a try with their flashlights. After reading some reviews online about the brightness and durability I was sold. Flashlight arrived open. Figured it was the plastic that came undone. Wasn’t happy about that but it’s definitely not a deal breaker, more like first world problems.
This flashlight went on an AR for home defense. I bought the one with the tape switch. Never used a tape switch so I was looking forward to using new gear. Tape switch takes pressure to keep it on obviously. Sometimes thumb will disengage and the light goes off. Again not a big deal because if some one ever did try to break in I don’t think the engagement will last long so holding the switch down will not be a problem. If it needs to be held for longer periods of time just turn the cap to full time on and problem solved.
The flashlight was bigger than I expected. I wanted to keep the weapon sleek and pretty low profiled. Again not a deal breaker. It’s 5e same size of a Streamlight Protac HL (?).
I really like the light, I like the way the switch lays. Couple of “ranger bands” and the switch was easy to install. Lights extremely bright and very durable.
Definitely recommend.
