It forced me to rate this, which, optics planet, that's stupid. I'm trying to leave a review, not a recommendation. It doesn't fit my gun, so I can't give it accurate stars, and I can't recommend or not if I can't use it.
I have the Shockwave 590 20 gauge, but from what I can tell, it likely wouldn't fit the 12 gauge either. Far too long for the castle nut to reach the threads, would require some serious Dremel or similar to make it work. Likely would have to carve out 1-2 inches on the front, and from what I can see, there's not much room for anything to come off the back.
Granted, it doesn't fit, so I can't speak to performance, but I don't understand the price tag. Sure, it doesn't flex, and it feels sturdy, but "marked down" to $75 from almost $100 seems ludicrous. $30? Maybe $40, $50 would feel like a lot.
