Amber interchangeable lenses - ESS CDI Replacement Lenses - 2.2mm Polycarbonate Interchangeable Lenses

I initially purchased these for nightime driving. A few weeks after I received them we received a rare large amount of snow for Georgia (8 inches!). I immediately changed my lenses on my ESS glasses to the amber lenses and could tell a vast improvement in vision. As the Sergeant of the shift my assignment that day was engineer on our custom LaFrance fire engine. On more than one occassion, I was exremely glad I had purchased these inserts. They worked great through the daytime and even better at night! There was less glare and a greatly increased clarity of vision. The same things were observed during following shifts when it rained. I personally noticed a great reduction of glare off of the wet pavement. Out of all of my personal purchases of equipment, I feel this has been the most useful and beneficial purchase of all!
Pros: easy to use, great at night, EXCELLENT in snow and ice!, great for overcast or rainy weather, decreases glare on wet roads, magnifies objects to a crisp clear definition
Cons: not great in normal sunny conditions
