Legacy Reviewer's Review of ESS URX Sunglass/Goggle Universal Prescription Insert
I have Oakley M-Frame 2.0 ballistic glasses for shooting and I hate wearing contacts. I decided I needed to try these RX inserts.
I had my prescription filled through Optics Planet, the staff had excellent customer service, and got them to my door in two weeks.
These will fog up on you! So I bought a package of Nikon Fog Eliminator wipes and they functioned flawlessly. I shot for an entire day, from the cold desert morning in to the warm desert afternoon, no issues with fogging. No sure when I'll have to reapply the wipes though.
The compatible nose piece is somewhat awkward as it juts out, but once I started shooting it was barely noticeable.
Lastly, no doubt about it, you look like a raccoon wearing these. I wish they were clear or in a light grey. However, it's all about function and they functioned very well.
