I use these for range shooting and hunting. The 2 settings make it so you hear normally on low, or gave super Human hearing on high. I got custom molds for the 0lug parts and those help with the comfort. Battery life has always been greater than 8hrs for me. My issue was water resistance, after a trip through the washing machine only 1 of them worked, opps. Hey 1 still worked after so that shows me they are very water resistant.
