For the longest time I had difficulty in loading 44-40 cartridges. This device eliminated my difficulties by identifying the cause. The other case checking features are excellent also. Well worth the few dollars spent on this item and I wish I had purchased it years ago. I highly recommend it to those who want them ammunition to be loaded and fit right the first time through the hoop, so-to-speak.
