I am really impressed by the quality of this piece. With some doing, it will hold 25 of the large, lifeboat matches (some tip up and some tip down). It has two striker surfaces, one (coarse-for white tip matches) on the outer, bottom, and a second (finer surface-for lifeboat matches), concealed inside, to keep it dry. It even comes with spare o-ring and striker surfaces. Built like a tank and fits inside of the pouch attached to my "Esee 5" bush knife's sheath. Tough!
