Can be mounted to a barrel, BUT I would not ever put it on a rifle barrel because it WILL Change the Point of Impact. I just wanted the Rail mount feature to mount a flashlight to a firearm. Simple enough to use and practical.
Pros:
  • light weight
  • Inexpensive
  • 2 ways to mount
Cons:
  • .750 diameter barrel limit
Best Used for:
  • easily mounting a flashlight
