Matthew Cosgrove's Review of Eylar Large 48in Waterproof Roller Hard Rifle Case w/Foam

I had previously purchased a Case Club Hard Rifle Case for my AR-15 and it had guns outline precut along with other precuts for Mags, Utility Case, etc. When I attempted to purchase a Case Club Hard Rifle Case for my AR-10, it initially appeared that the internal dimensions were fine with precuts similar to my previous case. I was very close to purchasing when I noticed that the precuts had the AR-10's buttstock quite a distance from the edge of the case and, as a result, my AR-10 would not fit in the internal dimensions unless I purchased my own foam and started from scratch. Since Case Club is expensive along with their foam, I searched around and found the Eylar 48" Hard Case which was perfect for my needs. I'm not a fan of the pick-n-pluck foam that came with the Eylar case so I purchased foam from Case Club so I could do all the cutouts myself. I love the case, it's deeper than my AR-15 case from Case Club and it's longer too. The locking mechanism is nearly identical so I purchased the exact same locks that I used for my AR-15 case. I made a couple changes with cutouts along the way because I plan to have 6 Magazines along with the one on the AR-10 itself. I have plenty of room left for other additions if I decide to add some extra items to the case. I will warn folks that carrying my AR-10 with Scope, Bipod, Mags, in this case isn't child's play. I'm so glad I made this purchase - the case it rock solid and perfectly fit my need!
