Not my favorite - FAB Defense GL-CORE S CP CQB Optimized Combat Stock

First, the “CP” part is useless. I can’t really get a cheek weld on this thing because of its position and when I try, I can’t see the sights. If you were trained to nose the charging handle like I was, this thing makes no sense. Maybe you’ll like it if you have a different shooting style or physical stature, I don’t know.
The stock itself (with CP removed) is okay, I like the style of it, how it’s a smaller point of contact on your shoulder. The rubber butt pad is good and I like how it looks. The adjustment mechanism is a neat design, but I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. It’s basically backward from what most stocks are, so it takes a little getting used to. Also, this stock wiggles like a basic el-cheapo. Maybe not quite as bad, but it does wiggle. Wiggly stocks tend to grab my facial hair.
The stock by itself (no CP) is okay, I’d give it a 3. I’d go with a 4 easy if it didn’t wiggle like it does.
The stock with this CP thing costs more, and I think that extra cost is a waste. If you like the stock, get it without the CP.
