Fab defense not so fab - FAB Defense GLR16 with a GCP Cheek Riser and GPCP Picatinny Rail Adaptor

The butt stock itself was alright. It looked pretty cool in a steroidal tactical way. Almost futuristic. The cheek riser, however, was useless. even more, it was detrimental to the operation of my rifle. While implementing the Cheek riser the charging handle could not be pulled all the way back unless the butt stock was adjusted all the way out. It basically mounted at the same height as the charging handle and the handle would hit the riser if the buttstock were in the 1,2,3,4 or 5 position (to according degrees). So if the buttstock was set in the 1 position, you could only pull the charging handle out that far before it ran into the cheek riser. And if it were in the 2 position the same and so on...
I removed the cheek riser and also the picattiny rails (they were all but useless). without the "frills" it performed ok. it wasn't super tight on the buffer tube, but it was okay. could have been better. If i had it to do over again, I would buy a different stock.
