Extremely weak base threads - FAB Defense QD Sling Swivel with Picatinny Base Mount

Unfortunately, I have to agree with DL's 1-star review. The base threads are extremely weak, and broke just as I was trying to get it finger-tight. The bolt itself should also be 1/8" - 3/16" longer, as only the top 2-3 teeth broke from the base threads, and I can't screw it down any further. I almost feel like it would be more sturdy if you flipped it around and screwed it in from the other end. Do not buy this unless FAB Defense makes some improvements. I am extremely disappointed that I paid over $40 for a glorified paperweight after tax and shipping.
