It works alright - FAB Defense Tactic Skin Slide Cover For Glock 17

Its pretty hard polymer, kinda similar to the ultimags. It looks ok. For those looking for a lot more grip, its significantly grippier than just the oem slide finish and serrations. I do somewhat like the look over the newer grey finish used on oem gen 3 slides. Do wish there was a bit more material to cover around the guide rod area and that it was a tighter fit on a slide though. The rear sight picture looks more or less the same. FYI it won't work with any of the usual frame mounted optic setups due to the additional width of the slide with the cover on. For slide mounted ones you'll have to trim it.
