Will not fit a standard ruger 10/22 - FAB Defense UAS-PRO Ruger 10/22 UAS Precision Stock Conversion Kit

My standard Ruger 10/22 barrel and receiver will not fit in this stock. When holding the Ruger stock alongside the FAB Defense stock it is clearly visible that the space cut for the receiver is different on the FAB. There is no way it can fit in the FAB. I am trying to get assistance from FAB customer service. I will probably have to return it. Additionally, it took many weeks for me to receive it. This is no fault of Optics Planet. The FAB stock has many good reviews so I was really looking forward to building a fun tactical 10/22. There are many videos available showing how easy it is to place a 10/22 into the FAB stock. Maybe I just got a "bad" one.
