Excellent choice - FAB Defense VZ58 Set of Lower and Upper Handguards

They fit tight. They are sturdy. They are superbly done. They make your 58 look modern. Down side is that plastic melts, though this stuff melts at a very high temp...for plastic. My only reservation would be for a 58 that was full auto or for a guy that does 15 mag dumps.....450 rounds in a little over a minute or so and the wood trimmed CZ 58 gun on YouTube smoked but didn't catch fire like the AK did. Buy this.

I hung a laser and a light on the upper and a hand-grip/bi-pod on the lower. Optics should be mounted at the rear IMHO.
