Would be nice if staked properly - Faxon Firearms 5.56/300BLK Gunner Light Weight Bolt Carrier Group

The BCG works fine and has a nice coating, but Faxon refuses to properly stake their gas keys. I bought one which Faxon replaced under warranty due to almost non-existent staking. The next one they sent, which they inspected prior to shipping, wasn’t much better. I bought the Faxon because it was a bit cheaper than the JP Enterprises LMOS. Now that I had to get a staking tool, I’ve almost spent what the JP would have cost. Learn from me - spend a little more and buy a properly manufactured lightweight BCG to start with and skip the Faxon.
