Absolute junk - Faxon Firearms 5.56 NATO Gunner Rifle Barrel

Purchased directly from Faxon and installed on an upper with the proper tools and a calibrated torque wrench. Cold bore performance is as expected. 15 - 20 rounds of barrel heat turns groups into patterns. All installation steps were checked, rechecked, and examined for defects. Results confirmed with multiple high end optics.

I have never seen such a horribly heat sensitive barrel in almost a dozen builds. Faxon customer service is incredibly slow and unreliable. I have my doubts I will get my money back for this garbage. Some of them may work fine, but if you get one that doesn't, oh boy are you in for a long wait to hear back from Faxon. It took me three emails to get a first response. Learn from my mistake, do not buy this product. This is poorly made junk.
