Smokey for indoor ranges. - Federal Premium American Eagle 38 Special 158 Grain Lead Round Nose Brass Cased Centerfire Pistol Ammunition

I'm new to target shooting. I go do an indoor range and am trying different rounds from different manufacturers. I got a box of this ammo because it was low cost and actually available.

My knowledge is very limited, but so far, based on the three manufacturers and types of rounds (HP,FMJ and LRN) this particular ammo type was very smokey compared to the other two (as well as some 9mm I used for a different gun).

Being LRN, thats going to present some extra cleaning already... but being that these rounds created much more smoke than the others.. I'm guessing firing a lot of theses is going to mean more cleaning.

And when I say smokey, I mean.. with the other rounds, I didn't even notice any smoke... but with these .. it was very noticeable.

I select yes for recommended.....but more so because of the low cost and them being available. But I'm still thinking twice before I order them again.
