Zero knock down - Federal Fusion .243 Winchester 95 Grain Soft Point Rifle Ammunition

My son shot a deer with this and it didn't flinch, just kept walking. He asked me to shoot so I anchored it. When we butchered the deer our entry holes could be covered by a quarter. We didn't recover the .243 bullet. I suspect it never expanded. Won't use it on deer again.
