Dim, bright, burns-your-eyes - Fenix E12 Compact LED Flashlight - 130 Lumens

The three brightness settings are a nice feature. I didn't know I needed a dim setting until I saw it. It's very nice for close objects, or being discrete. The medium setting is fine for most tasks, and the bright setting is sufficient for long range. Very compact and light. It has a preference for rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries, which provide longer run time, according to the specs.
