Very strong light well build't but strap broke on first day. Heavy case build't for abuse.It is smaller than a standard flashlight made for tactical uses including rifle mount.Expensive batteries I would suggest getting rechargeable . I do not know how long they last as I use it sparingly at low setting. Great for bedside use blinding light at the high setting. Low setting is sufficient for nightly use.
