This is my second one of these vests.First one was 10 years old and I just outgrew it,(funny how that happens).Anyway,the first one had no wear signs on it at all when I gave it away.Tried several other fleece vests for a couple years not wanting to spend the money on another Filson and finally just bought what I should have to begin with.
