Good entry level night vison - Fire Field Nightfall 5x50 Digital Night Vision Monocular

I purchased this product and had no expectations of greatness. People who put down a cheap product because they expected a $200 product to perform like a $2000 one are wrong. I used it to gator hunt and it did what I wanted it to do. I could see well without the IR light in a 1/4 moon in the middle of the everglades, I turned on the IR and it was clear as day. The zoom is manual so you turn the objective lens to focus in on objects, sort of like a zoom lens on a camera. The only draw back is it has a very, very bright screen which is in black and white. When you move the unit away from your eye it takes 2-3 minutes for your pupil to dialate open, so I had to close that eye and use the other one to see.
