Great value - Firefield 3-12x40 Rifle Scope w/ AO Reticle

I'll admit that I bought this scope basically on a whim. It appeared to have the features that I wanted but I knew nothing about Firefield scopes. The price was right though so I ordered it for my new Savage Mk II. I have been very pleased with the scope. It mounted effortlessly into the rings and was within 3 inches of zero with the first two shots. I made adjustments for the 3 inches and the scope accurately reflected the 1/4" per click adjustments for both windage and elevation. Yes, it took two shots to zero this scope. The adjustable objective keeps the targets focussed and the 3 to 12 power is just what my aging eyes need. Honestly, I haven't used the lighted reticle and it's not a feature that I need or will ever likely use. The features of this scope could easily result in a selling price of $150 or more, in my opinion, and that's what makes this scope a great value.
