Most Helpful Negative Review Weak Rail
Rather clumsy looking when mounted. Weaver rail is powdered metal. Snapped right off after about 200 rounds on my WASR 10 and dumped my scope on the ground. Pros: Easy to install Cons: Powdered metal rail

Not practical

It is a nice solid mount, but is set too far to the rear of the reciever to be used with a normal scope. Would work okay for a red dot or tactical scope, but will not work to a long range scope.
Pros: solid easy to set up for either svd or ak
Cons: Rail is too short for normal scope. Too high to be used.

Good Build. Terrible Engineering

Waited with baited breath to receive. Upon fast mock up it shows a .750-1.00 offset to the left of bore center line on Romanian WAS10. Mount is heavy duty and appears to be able to handle recoil from any variation from 5.45 to either of .51 or .54 full bore .30s. Just engineering did not angle the mount in to adjust for bore centerline. Hard to say it, but mocked up 3 of the current side mounds available and Leapers seems the best..just flimsy construction.
Pros: Few For Customer
Cons: Off Set Rail.
