Until i find something better. - OpticsPlanet Exclusive Firefield Rifle Knife Bayonet with Barrel Mount

My application for this was on a home-defense carbine rifle, but this bayonet is not of any serious quality and I would consider it more of a visual deterrent on your firearm. I suppose it could be functional in a desperate circumstance, but with its plastic polymer wimpish grip to a picatinny, your foe with one swipe of a stick could snap this bayonet right off its weak mount. ( Perhaps another manufacturer will design a better one in the same low price range.) Also, depending on your firearm, this bayonet on a barrel mount may effect your barrel's harmonics in firing longer range accuracy, and maybe something to consider in mounting this accessory.
