Nice and cheap - Firefield Tactical 8-32x50AO IR Rifle Scope

I have used this scope on a .223 AR15 for about a year and a few hundred rounds. At first I was worried because the cross hairs did not line up perfectly with the turrets and battery so if I look down the scope and have the cross hairs level the turrets are slightly unlevel with the rifle. With the scope mounted I do not notice it but it is a mistake from the factory that should have been noticed and would have been on higher end scopes and the reason I give 4 stars. The turrets work well but I am not 100% sure the 1/4'' clicks are exactly 1/4'' on paper at 100 yards, very close though. The scope does hold zero once set with the recoil from an AR15. I get 10 round groups under 1'' fairly consistently so the scope holds zero very well. For the price compared to it's ability to put rounds on paper you can not beat it. Is the glass the clearest you can find, no. Is it the most well made scope I have seen, no. Does it have the ability to produce tight groups at distance, yes. You could easily put 1000 dollars into a 10x high end scope and do worse groupings than compared to this 32x scope.
