me's Review of FN America Barrel Ar-15 Button Rifled 14.7" 1:7 Carbine Gas M4
Very nice quality barrel, as you would expect from FN. Barrel is chrome lined, this is not the hammer forged unit though. I used this with an SB Tactical pistol brace (for legality). This barrel is not dimpled for a gas block. Due to it's under 16" length it is intended to be used with a pistol brace or for an NFA registered short barrel rifle (SBR). As always, a smooth transaction with Optics Planet.
Pros:
- Nice F'N quality
Cons:
- A little more expensive than some brands.
Best Used for:
- NFA registered SBR or pistol to avoid a vacation at Club Fed
