Fostech nickel boron ar15 bolt carrier group. - Fostech AR-15 Complete Bolt Carrier Group (BCG)

Disappointed in the quality of workmanship on this BCG from a highly rated company and at this price range. Bolt carrier had deep scratches in the rear inside area possibly through the plating. Also had tool chatter marks on outer surface (not in an area that would affect function) but quality control should have caught it before it went to plating. Makes me wonder what else slipped by. Lastly it had a dent in the lower right surface that would contact the inside of the receiver. The raised metal would surely wear the anodizing. On a phosphate carrier you could dress it down but impossible on plated one. I almost forgot the gas key staking could be a little more aggressive. Should I live with it because BCG are hard to get? No, I sent it back for an exchange (give Fostech another chance) but Optics Planet is out of them so don't know when I will see another. Is it me or is the quality of everything declining. We sure are making the Chinese look good. I just got an Aero Precision Nickel Boron BCG that was on back order. It definitely is a quality product, sorry I wasted my time with Fostech.
