Mr.B's Review of Fox Outdoor MA-1 Flight Jacket
(A) The Fox MA1 nylon flight jacket was ordered two sizes larger than my shirt size, as the undercut reputation for this style jacket is notorious.
(B) The fit, is perfect, as the jacket is a Full Cut.
(C) There is a tack stitch at the bottom of the inside wind flap, which will require a very sharp blade and some care to avoid causing damage to the material. Take your time with it.
(D) The bottom hem of the jacket extends below the beltline (I am 6'0" tall), which is going to avoid chill from getting into my back.
(E) The 1911 O-frame in OWB carry with two mags and EDC items are completely covered. The vertical shoulder holster, a bit snug.
(F) Zippers are gritty and will receive some beeswax.
(G) Quilting is plush and complete coverage, without any void spots.
(H) Having worn this style jacket for over four decades, it stacks up like this: MilSpec, was best; Alpha and Rothco, both, are below the quality of the Fox MA1 nylon flight jacket.
(I) Summation: Prudent purchase. Quality is outstanding. Price on par with other manufacturers. Value, excellent. I rate 5-Stars of 5-Star Rating. I recommend this item.
