I got this for the rainy season that is just around the corner here in the Southeast.
I used this poncho twice already and it works great! Great value for the money!
When a summer thunderstorm comes hot and humid, the poncho does not breathe but it sure keeps you dry. The rip stop quality is great since our woods are full of thorns and briers.
First off the camo is perfect for the hardwoods here in South Carolina. The first day out, my friends "lost me" even though I was within 25 feet of them.
The hood fits comfortably over both a ball cap and boonie hat.
I did remove the tarp cords from the grommets on the bottom since I will not be using this as a bivouac. I do like the idea you can snap several together for various configurations. In fact, I better order two more!
