I bought my 16x70s back in 98. Great binoculars at a great price! I bought them for glassing Elk, Aoudad and Deer. Clarity and light gathering at dusk and dawn is great. I use them mounted on a sturdy tripod for comfortable viewing standing or sitting. May also be used for viewing outdoor concerts, sports and boating. Water resistant is a big plus! Friends and complete strangers are very impressed when looking through my Fujinon Polaris 16x70s.
Pros:
  • Powerful, clear and priced right!
Cons:
  • A bit bulky but not bad when carried in a day pack. Mount on a sturdy tripod for comfortable viewing.
Best Used for:
  • For me hunting in high and or wide open spaces.
