These are the nicest belt carried AR/Rifle Magazine pouches as far as I can tell. Very well made and adjustable enough to fit a variety of magazines. Magazines are retained well but not so much that it makes extraction an issue. I shoot a fair amount of 3 gun competitions throughout the season. My experience with Kydex is they are are not very compliant and difficult to insert a mag and tougher to retrieve. The adjustable bungie on the G-Code allows you to dial in your preferred tension. Good looking too and that never hurts.
